Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will launch direct scheduled flights between Baku and Kars in northeastern Türkiye, further expanding its regional route network and strengthening air connectivity between the two countries.
According to the airline, the inaugural flight is scheduled for July 30, 2026. The route will operate twice a week, with flights on Thursdays and Sundays, The Caspian Post reports.
AZAL said the new service is expected to contribute to the further development of business, tourism and cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
Tickets for the Baku-Kars-Baku route are already available through the airline’s official website and mobile application, as well as at AZAL ticket offices and authorised travel agencies.
