Between January and March 2026, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the United States reached about $296.3 million, reflecting a 2.2-fold increase compared to the same period last year, according to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, trade with the US accounted for 3.1% of Azerbaijan's total foreign trade turnover, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.
In the first quarter of this year, Azerbaijan's exports to the US increased by 41.6%, reaching almost $22.3 million, while imports from the US rose 2.3 times to almost $274 million.
Over the course of three months, exports to the US made up 0.4% of Azerbaijan's total exports, while imports from the US accounted for 6.8% of total imports.
