Bitget Restricts Crypto Trading for Users in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has added Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus to its list of restricted jurisdictions, prohibiting residents of these countries from using the platform’s services.

The changes were introduced in Bitget’s user agreement on October 16, according to Kommersant.

Under the updated rules, users will no longer be able to open new trades, place orders or subscribe to services starting October 18.

Affected users have until October 21 to close their existing positions and withdraw their assets. After that deadline, access to their accounts will be restricted.

The measures introduce new limitations for cryptocurrency traders residing in three countries.
