Following their meeting in Baku, the heads of government of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) highlighted the significance of enhancing economic relations and investment collaboration among member and observer nations, as stated in the joint declaration issued after their second meeting today.
The statement calls for special attention to promoting joint projects, improving the business and investment environment, and strengthening links between business communities, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.
Participants also reaffirmed their commitment to increasing mutual trade among member states by eliminating non-tariff barriers.
The declaration highlights the contribution of industrial development to economic growth and its role in forming a sustainable economic model. The heads of government stressed their readiness to enhance cooperation in mutually beneficial industrial sectors, as well as the importance of collaboration in standardization, digitalization, and the promotion of green technologies.
