Russian users have reported widespread difficulties accessing Apple’s App Store, with the number of complaints rising sharply on September 20.
According to outage-monitoring data, 474 complaints about access to the App Store were recorded on September 20, compared with 21 complaints a day earlier.
Reports came from users in 43 Russian regions. Moscow accounted for the largest share, representing 31% of all complaints, followed by St. Petersburg and the Irkutsk Region.
Some users also said they were only able to access the App Store while connected to a VPN.
