Turkish Airlines has officially launched regular flights on the Istanbul-Yerevan-Istanbul route, opening a new phase in air connectivity between Türkiye and Armenia.
The inaugural flight landed at Zvartnots International Airport on March 11, 2026, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.
The arrival ceremony was attended by Mihran Khachatryan, head of the Armenian Civil Aviation Committee, representatives of “International Airports - Armenia,” senior Turkish Airlines officials and invited guests.
Flights on the route are currently scheduled to operate daily. Beginning May 14, the frequency will increase to 10 flights per week, and from June 15, it is expected to reach up to 14 weekly flights, reflecting a gradual expansion to meet growing passenger demand.
