Kazakhstan Plans to Export Around 70 Million Tons of Oil in 2024

Annual oil production in Kazakhstan is projected to surpass 100 million tons due to the development of large projects.

Kazakhstan plans to export 68.8 million tons of oil in 2024, with crude production expected to reach 88.4 million tons, according to Energy Minister Almassadam Satkaliyev during his speech at the Government Hour in the Majilis, The Caspian Post reports citing Kazinform News Agency.

He said 55.4 million tons of oil will be exported through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, 8.6 million tons via Atyrau-Samara, 3.6 million tons via Aktau port, and 0.05 million tons by rail. Besides, Kazakhstan is considering the possibility of transporting oil through the Baku-Supsa pipeline with a shipping capacity standing at 5 million tons a year. Potential shipment volumes through the pipeline are estimated at 3 million tons a year.
