Kazakhstan’s national oil company, KazMunayGaz (KMG), resumed oil supplies through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline on September 13.
In a statement, KMG said that 8,800 metric tons of Kashagan crude were dispatched from the Aktau terminal toward the BTC pipeline, with the next shipment scheduled for September 20, The Caspian Post reports.
Supplies via the route had been suspended in August.
In the first eight months of 2025, Kazakhstan exported 0.9 million tons of oil through the BTC. In 2022, KMG and Azerbaijan’s SOCAR signed an agreement on Kazakh oil transit, followed by a 2024 agreement to gradually increase transit volumes across Azerbaijan.
