On August 4, Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), held a meeting with Péter Szijjártó, Head of External Relations and New Business Development at BYD.

During the meeting, SOCAR presented its green energy agenda, highlighting the renewable energy projects currently being carried out in partnership with its collaborators, The Caspian Post reports, citing the company.

The two sides also exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation in integrating renewable energy technologies into industrial processes, implementing advanced technological solutions, and exploring other issues of mutual interest.
