Textile products manufactured in Azerbaijan's Khojaly town are now being exported to Georgia and Moldova, marking a new step in the development of local production, Rizvan Mammadov, founder of Karabakh Textile Evi LLC, said.

The company was officially opened on May 28 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev. Mammadov said that the facility currently employs 105 people, with plans to increase the workforce to 200, according to Report.

“Karabakh Textile Evi” produces a wide range of textile goods, including bed linen sets and towels. Its products have already entered the Georgian and Moldovan markets, while around 75% of total output is sold domestically.

The factory currently manufactures about 200 different product lines, with annual production reaching approximately 1 million items.

Mammadov said the company also plans to expand into clothing production, which is expected to create another 100 jobs.

“Our personnel are mainly citizens who have returned to Khojaly and Aghdam as part of the Great Return,” he added.
