Georgia and Kyrgyzstan are considering the launch of direct flights between Tbilisi and Bishkek as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation.
The possibility was raised by Davit Matikashvili, a member of Georgia's parliamentary majority, during a visit by a Georgian parliamentary delegation to Kyrgyzstan, Sputnik Georgia reports.
Matikashvili said that establishing direct air links between the two capitals could contribute to closer ties and create additional opportunities for cooperation.
He also noted that the current visit by the Georgian parliamentary delegation would mark another step toward deepening relations between the two countries.
