Iran has announced that flight restrictions imposed across the country have now been lifted, The Caspian Post reports, citing Al Jazeera.
“With the provision of safe conditions and the necessary coordination with relevant institutions, flight restrictions have been lifted and the country’s aviation activities are returning to normal as planned,” said Abouzar Shiroodi, Head of the Civil Aviation Organisation.
The restrictions had been introduced earlier on Monday, when flights were cancelled and the country’s airspace was also closed following Iran’s attack on Israel, which prompted retaliatory action.
With the latest decision, aviation operations in the country are now resuming and returning to normal conditions.
