Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has departed for Muscat, Oman, ahead of scheduled “nuclear negotiations” with the United States on Friday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei announced.
“This diplomatic engagement is being carried out with authority and with the aim of reaching a fair, mutually acceptable and honorable understanding regarding the nuclear issue,” he wrote on X, The Caspian Post reports.
He also expressed appreciation to neighboring and regional countries for what he described as their responsible role in facilitating the talks, adding that Iran hopes the United States will approach the negotiations with responsibility, realism, and seriousness.
