Iran's Araghchi Holds Second Meeting with IAEA Chief in New York

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met for the second time in two days with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in New York.

Araghchi, who is in the United States to attend the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly, held talks with Grossi as part of ongoing consultations over Iran’s nuclear issue, The Caspian Post reports citing Iranian media.

The discussions focused on continuing diplomatic engagement and preventing further escalation of tensions surrounding Iran’s nuclear program.
