Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the elite branch of the country's armed forces, claimed it had carried out another successful strike targeting US military facilities at Isa Air Base in Bahrain, The Caspian Post reports.

In a statement, the IRGC said that Iranian military drones struck US aircraft hangars, fuel storage facilities and several communications hubs at the base several hours earlier.

According to the statement, Isa Air Base is one of the key hubs supporting US air and naval operations in the region.
