Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has praised the administration of President Masoud Pezeshkian for addressing people’s needs amid the aggression, while calling for stronger national unity.
In his message, the leader emphasized that “preserving unity and safeguarding social cohesion” is a “fundamental” issue that should remain a central priority, The Caspian Post reports, citing Mehr.
“Undoubtedly, every discouraging statement that weakens national and public motivation, and every kind of imagined dichotomy - such as war or negotiations, consensus or extremism, compromise or warmongering - which in the past inflicted direct or indirect harm on our dear people, can have the same effect from now on,” he said.
Khamenei stressed that “committing any act that harms social cohesion is prohibited.”
He also said that culture, education and upbringing should be treated as cross-cutting priorities across all government strategies.
The leader called for particular attention to teachers, university and seminary instructors, nurses and doctors working in public institutions, as well as homemakers. He noted that homemakers play an important role in shaping the country’s cultural future through raising their children.
Khamenei expressed hope that implementing these recommendations would contribute to building an “ever-stronger Iran.”
