A senior military adviser in Iran has said that the current conflict could end within 10 days, before the Novruz holiday on March 21.

Yahya Rahim Safavi, senior adviser to Iran’s commander-in-chief, said the US and Israel would be unable to sustain a prolonged war against Iran, The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.

Safavi claimed that ongoing operations by Iranian armed forces are intensifying pressure on their opponents and suggested that the US could face humiliation in the conflict.

He also said that Iran intends to impose its own conditions if the confrontation comes to an end in the coming days.
