Iran is fully prepared to respond to any military aggression, Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said after US President Donald Trump stated that he had postponed a planned attack on Iran.

Gharibabadi reacted to Trump’s remarks in a post on X, saying the comments reflected readiness for a large-scale assault at any moment, The Caspian Post reports.

“It speaks of readiness for a massive assault at any moment,” Gharibabadi wrote. “This means calling ‘threat’ by the name of ‘opportunity for peace’!”

He added that Iran remains united and determined in the face of any potential military action.

“Iran, united and resolutely, is prepared to confront any military aggression,” he said.
