Iran plans to increase production of air defense systems that proved effective during the country’s recent 40-day conflict, according to a statement by Alireza Elhami, commander of the Iranian Army’s Air Defense Force.
Elhami said lessons learned from the recent fighting had prompted Iran to make adjustments to its air defense tactics, production processes and the deployment and positioning of its systems, according to Iran International.
The commander indicated that the experience gained during the conflict will shape the further development and production of Iran’s air defense capabilities.
