Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that ending the war is the country's priority.
He stressed that the Islamabad memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Washington and Tehran was not signed out of submission, but “out of logic and awareness,” The Caspian Post reports, citing Al Jazeera.
Pezeshkian claimed that Iran’s enemies had realised they could not defeat the country militarily and had therefore focused on creating social problems and economic discontent.
“Ending the war and preserving unity are priorities of my government,” the Iranian president said.
