Iran Set to Unveil AI-Enhanced Long-Range Cruise Missiles

Iran's IRGC Navy Commander, Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, has announced the development of long-range cruise missiles with a range exceeding 1,000 km. These missiles will incorporate artificial intelligence to enhance their targeting capabilities.

Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, revealed that Iran has successfully developed cruise missiles with ranges exceeding 1,000 km, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) to improve their precision and operational effectiveness, The Caspian Post reports citing local media.

Speaking at an event commemorating the anniversary of Operation Valfajr-8, Tangsiri emphasized the full military readiness of Iran’s naval forces and warned adversaries against any threats to the country’s territorial waters.

Iran’s Navy and IRGC forces stand together, ensuring that no foreign power can encroach upon our waters, he declared.

Highlighting Iran’s advanced missiles, drones, vessels, and submarines, Tangsiri stated that Iran’s military advancements have continued despite sanctions, fostering self-sufficiency and indigenous innovation.
