Iran Threatens to Target US Aircraft Carrier Infrastructure in Red Sea

Iranian military officials have warned that logistics and support facilities linked to the US aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford, currently deployed in the Red Sea, could become military targets.

A spokesperson for the IRGC Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated that the presence of the carrier in the Red Sea is considered a threat to Iran, and that associated maintenance and logistics centers would be treated as legitimate targets by Iranian armed forces, The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.

The warning adds to rising tensions in the region, highlighting the strategic risks surrounding US naval deployments near Iran.
