Iran Tops List of Date Suppliers to Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan imported 12,600 tons of dates worth $9 million between January and July 2025.

The figure marks an increase of 4,900 tons compared to the same period last year, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

Iran remained Uzbekistan’s largest supplier, exporting 9,800 tons of dates during the reporting period. Other significant exporters were Tunisia (810 tons), Türkiye (396 tons), Saudi Arabia (245 tons), Kazakhstan (230 tons), Azerbaijan (224 tons), and the UAE (196 tons).

Imports from other countries totaled 624 tons.
