The Jordanian Armed Forces have successfully intercepted and shot down a total of 49 Iranian ballistic missiles and drones targeting the kingdom over the course of the day.

The armed forces responded to 49 drones and ballistic missiles aimed at Jordanian territory. 13 ballistic missiles were successfully intercepted by Jordan’s air defense systems, and the drones were shot down, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

The interception operation caused material damage but no casualties were reported.
