US President Donald Trump’s administration could launch a nuclear strike against Iran within days under pressure from Israel, journalist Tucker Carlson has warned.

“Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran,” Carlson wrote on X.

He identified Mount Pickax as a possible target, claiming that Israeli intelligence believes Iran may have resumed its uranium enrichment program there.

Carlson argued that conventional weapons would be unable to penetrate the facility’s nearly 100-meter-thick protective structure, making a nuclear strike, in his assessment, the “only option.”

The journalist said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is strongly pushing for such an attack amid an unstable political situation following Israel’s recent parliamentary elections.

Carlson added that Trump has apparently not yet made a decision and is consulting advisers, including Vice President JD Vance and special envoy Steve Witkoff. Both, he said, continue to favor reaching an agreement with Iran.
