A US delegation is expected to join negotiations in Qatar’s capital, Doha, potentially creating an opportunity to resume diplomatic dialogue between Washington and Tehran.

The participation of American representatives could help advance ongoing diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict involving Iran, Al Araby Al Jadeed reports.

Earlier, a Qatari delegation had returned to Doha from Tehran following 12 hours of negotiations, accompanied by Iranian representatives.

The talks reportedly made some progress, with further discussions expected to take place on October 31.
