A Quran recitation gathering was held in Tehran on the first day of Ramadan in the presence of Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

The event took place on Thursday at the Imam Khomeini Hussainia and brought together prominent Iranian and international masters and reciters of the Holy Quran, The Caspian Post reports, citing IRNA.

During the ceremony, Khamenei expressed appreciation for the high quality of the recitations performed.
