Protester Replaces Iranian Flag at Embassy in London

A protester tore down the Iranian flag at the Islamic Republic’s embassy in London.

During the demonstration, one of the protesters climbed onto the embassy balcony, removed the current Iranian flag, and replaced it with a pre-revolutionary flag featuring a lion and sun emblem, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

Scotland Yard confirmed the incident. The statement said that the authorities were aware of the protest outside the Iranian embassy and the actions of the demonstrator, adding that police officers were present on the scene and additional personnel had been deployed to prevent disorder.
