Iranian tech and start-up companies plan to attend a forum to explore pathways for expanding their exports to the Eurasian Economic Union.
Tehran Chamber of Commerce, will hold the Fourth Iran-Eurasia Strategic Forum on October 22 in Tehran, under the theme “Trade, Diplomacy and the Emerging Regional Order,” The Caspian Post reports citing Iranian media.
The gathering will focus on the use of new technologies and smart strategies to facilitate Iranian companies’ entry into the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) market.
The event follows the implementation of Iran’s free trade agreement with the EAEU, which came into effect on May 15, 2025, under Article 101 of Iran’s Seventh Development Plan.
According to organizers, the forum hosts policymakers, private sector leaders, export-oriented associations, leading companies, academics and experts to review the practical pathways of the free trade agreement and assess both opportunities and risks for exports and investment.
Two central themes will shape the discussions: the application of new technologies in trade and to design sound strategies for entering Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan’s markets.
