The foreign ministers of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan have discussed strengthening bilateral ties, expanding economic cooperation, and addressing key regional developments during a recent phone call.
Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi emphasized that Afghanistan places great importance on diplomacy, mutual respect, and non-interference in the internal affairs of other nations, The Caspian Post informs via the Afghan foreign ministry.
He noted that Kabul seeks to maintain close relations with all neighboring and regional partners, including Kazakhstan, through constructive dialogue and cooperation.
Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev praised Afghanistan’s constructive stance and its efforts to promote peace and stability. He underscored that regional peace and prosperity are a shared responsibility - achievable only through mutual trust, economic collaboration, and sustainable development.
