Armenia and Kazakhstan have discussed expanding transport and logistics routes, strengthening trade ties and exploring new opportunities for cooperation, including the development of the Middle Corridor.
The issues were discussed during a meeting in Yerevan between Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Assel Zhanassova, Sputnik Armenia reports.
The talks focused on bilateral relations, cooperation in transport and logistics, and ways to further develop and expand trade and economic ties.
The two officials also discussed opportunities to broaden cooperation in e-commerce.
Since October 2025, a transport route connecting the two countries via China has been in operation.
Kazakhstan has also proposed that Armenia join the Middle Corridor transport route through the TRIPP project, which could create additional opportunities to strengthen regional connectivity and facilitate trade between the countries.
