President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has sent a letter to President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
"Dear Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich, I sincerely congratulate you and, through you, the brotherly people of Kazakhstan on the successful completion of the referendum on the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan," President Aliyev said, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
"The outcome of the referendum-the adoption of the new Constitution-reflects the unity of your people, the expression of their national will, and their strong trust in you. It also demonstrates support for the decisive policies you pursue for the prosperity of Kazakhstan. There is no doubt that this landmark event, aimed at modernizing the political system and improving governance, will mark a new chapter in Kazakhstan’s history, contributing to the country’s comprehensive development and strengthening its role and position on the international stage," the president noted.
"I am confident that the ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, rooted in our shared history, rich spiritual values, friendship, brotherhood, mutual trust, and support, will continue to grow and strengthen through our joint efforts, maintaining an upward trajectory in strategic partnership and alliance," President Aliyev said.
"Dear Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich, once again I extend my congratulations on this great achievement, wishing you continued success in your high state duties and the brotherly people of Kazakhstan lasting peace and prosperity," the president added.
