Flags Fly High in Kazakhstan Ahead of Azerbaijani Leader’s Arrival

Flags of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan now line the main avenues, buildings, and landmarks of the capital as Astana prepares to welcome Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on a state visit.

A video showcasing the city’s picturesque landscapes-captured both in daylight and under night illumination-was released by the Telegram channel BORT #1, highlighting the festive atmosphere in anticipation of the visit, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

President Aliyev is set to arrive in Kazakhstan on October 20-21 at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The visit will feature high-level talks focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors.

President Aliyev praised the robust political dialogue and close partnership between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, underscoring the growing strategic ties between the two nations.
