Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan Launch Joint Tour Operator to Boost Tourism

Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are taking their tourism partnership to the next level with the launch of a joint tour operator designed to attract travelers from around the world.

The new company, TourAN, was officially unveiled in Baku, marking a major step toward creating a unified travel experience across both countries, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The initiative, backed by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan, aims to offer a full range of travel services-from ecotourism and cultural journeys to gastronomic, medical, and business tours-positioning the region as a seamless destination for international visitors.

Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel said the project will strengthen bilateral ties and boost the global visibility of both nations. He pointed to a steady rise in mutual tourism and stressed that joint initiatives like TourAN will accelerate travel flows even further.

Momentum has been building in recent years. Tourism forums hosted in Baku have helped deepen cooperation, with another major industry gathering planned in Turkistan in 2026.

Connectivity is already strong, with more than 30 direct flights operating weekly between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan-making multi-destination travel easier than ever.
