Kazakh and Azerbaijani Presidents Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Ilham Aliyev have toured the Alem.AI international center, where they explored the latest advancements in digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev introduced the leaders to the AI-Driven Government concept, showcasing a situation center designed for the analysis and management of government processes alongside the implementation of GovTech solutions, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
The presidents were also shown Smart City innovations, a robotics zone, and AI-focused projects developed by Samruk-Kazyna, highlighting the integration of artificial intelligence across various sectors.
Additionally, Tokayev and Aliyev reviewed the Astana Hub innovation cluster, home to nearly 1,800 IT companies and startups, including over 460 with international participation. They were presented with successful Kazakhstani tech enterprises making their mark on global markets.
This visit followed bilateral talks and the second meeting of the Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan Supreme Interstate Council in Astana. Earlier, the two presidents issued a joint statement commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Agreement on Strategic Partnership and Allied Relations between the two nations.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is currently on a two-day state visit to Kazakhstan. Ahead of the visit, Aliyev granted an exclusive interview to Kazinform, discussing bilateral cooperation and ongoing collaboration in trade, energy, culture, and within the Organization of Turkic States.
