A Kazakh delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Major General Ansagan Baltabekov, has visited Azerbaijan, held talks with Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov, and toured the country’s Internal Troops and police agencies to review their operations and organizational practices.
During the meeting, Minister Eyvazov emphasized that, following the strategic direction set by the heads of state of both countries, cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan has continued deepening, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
He highlighted that bilateral collaboration-particularly in combating transnational organized crime, exchanging best practices and operational intelligence, and developing regulatory and legal frameworks-serves the interests of both nations and contributes to regional security.
Major General Baltabekov expressed appreciation for the warm reception and constructive discussions, noting that the Kazakh Ministry of Internal Affairs is eager to further expand cooperation and will actively pursue initiatives to strengthen ties.
The two sides also exchanged views on other areas of mutual interest.
