Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, to participate in the Informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
Tokayev was welcomed at Manas Airport by Kyrgyzstan’s Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration, Adylbek Kasymaliyev, Kazinform reports.
The Kazakh president is visiting Kyrgyzstan from July 31 to August 1 at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.
The high-level meeting in Cholpon-Ata will bring together the leaders of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan to discuss regional cooperation and ways to strengthen interaction among the participating states.
The talks are expected to focus on expanding regional partnerships and advancing cooperation between Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
