Kazakh Leader Praises Uzbekistan’s Progress in Birthday Call to President Mirziyoyev

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has extended warm birthday wishes to his Uzbek counterpart, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during a phone talk.

Tokayev conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and wished Mirziyoyev continued success in his responsible role for the benefit of the fraternal Uzbek people, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.

In their conversation, President Tokayev praised Uzbekistan’s steady and dynamic development under President Mirziyoyev’s leadership, particularly in the areas of social and economic reform.

The two leaders emphasized the strength of the Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan strategic and allied partnership, built on mutual trust, neighborly relations, and consistent support. They noted significant progress in bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including trade and economy, culture, education, science, and humanitarian exchange.

Tokayev highlighted that the sustainable development of Central Asia depends heavily on the level of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. In this context, both countries continue to advance joint projects in industry, energy, transportation, logistics, and agriculture.

The presidents also exchanged views on current regional developments and reviewed the schedule of upcoming high-level meetings, both bilateral and within multilateral frameworks.
