Kazakh Police Hunt Train-Surfing Teens - VIDEO

Police officers in Almaty, Kazakhstan, are searching for a group of children caught on video performing a life-threatening stunt - riding on a moving freight train.

Eyewitness footage circulating online shows three boys, believed to be under 12, clinging to a wagon as the train speeds along. The shocking scene has raised serious safety concerns, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Police say once the children are identified, their parents will face administrative penalties for failing to ensure their safety, as well as violations related to improper use of railway transport.

Officials warn that such behavior can have devastating consequences - a concern already proven in Astana. There, two teenagers climbed onto a moving freight train and began jumping between wagons. The train driver was forced to stop and call police as the teens tried to escape. One of them fell and suffered a broken collarbone, while the other escaped with minor injuries.

Police are urging parents to closely monitor their children, stressing that what may seem like a thrill can quickly turn into tragedy.
