A new international flight connection has been opened between Aktau and Yerevan, strengthening travel links between Kazakhstan and Armenia.
Air carrier SCAT Airlines has launched the new route Aktau-Yerevan-Aktau, with flights operating twice a week - on Tuesdays and Saturdays - starting April 18, The Caspian Post reports via SCAT Airlines.
The new service is expected to provide more convenient and regular air connectivity between western Kazakhstan and Armenia’s capital, opening up additional opportunities for both business travel and tourism.
Officials say the route expansion reflects growing demand for regional mobility and stronger transport links across the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
