Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of state social insurance, marking a new step in strengthening bilateral ties.
The agreement was concluded during the 14th Kazakhstan International Occupational Safety and Health Conference and Exhibition, bringing together officials and experts from across the region, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
The memorandum focuses on expanding collaboration between relevant institutions and promoting the exchange of best practices in social protection systems.
Deputy Chairman of the Kazakh State Social Insurance Fund Marat Zhanibekov said that the document envisages systematic two-way cooperation. This includes regular exchange of experience between government bodies and coordinated engagement on international platforms in the field of social security.
The agreement was officially signed between the Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund and Kazakhstan’s State Social Insurance Fund. Zhanibekov noted that the memorandum has passed all necessary approval procedures on the Azerbaijani side, including review by the presidential administration.
