Police in East Kazakhstan region have tracked down a woman who owed more than 4 million tenge to a resident of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
The migration service received a court enforcement order to locate the debtor after she was officially declared wanted by a private bailiff, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
“Since March 2025, the citizen had been evading her obligations to a city resident, with the total debt exceeding 4 million tenge,” the East Kazakhstan police department said.
Following search operations, officers identified the whereabouts of the 61-year-old woman. The case materials have been handed over to bailiffs for enforcement proceedings and debt recovery measures.
Police added that since the beginning of the year, more than 35 wanted debtors have been located in the region.
