Erkin Dalmagambetov, head of the city administration (akim) of Temir in Aktobe Region, Kazakhstan, has died by suicide.
His body was found on the evening of December 20. The Aktobe Regional Police stated that the circumstances are under investigation and no further information has been released, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
According to the city administration, Dalmagambetov leaves behind six children from two marriages. He was 46 years old.
Dalmagambetov was appointed akim of Temir in June 2024 and previously held various positions in public service.
