Kazakhstan's Tokayev Begins Germany Visit to Strengthen Strategic Partnership

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Germany on Monday for an official visit at the invitation of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

During the visit, Tokayev is scheduled to hold talks with Steinmeier and German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz, The Caspian Post reports, citing Qazinform.

The talks will focus on prospects for strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Germany.

As part of the visit, Tokayev will also travel to Munich.

The Kazakh president is scheduled to meet with senior executives of leading German companies and financial institutions, as well as university rectors and directors of German research institutes.

Tokayev will also attend a business forum in Berlin and a technology business forum in Munich.
