Kazakhstan Urges Citizens to Leave Iran

Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry has called on its citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran until the security environment in the country improves.

In an official statement, the ministry recommended that Kazakh nationals currently in Iran depart from the country, The Caspian Post reports.

It also urged them to take enhanced safety precautions, stay alert, closely monitor local news updates, and strictly comply with directives issued by local authorities.

Additionally, Kazakh officials advised citizens to carefully assess any planned trips to countries across the Middle East, warning of the potential for a rapid escalation of regional tensions.

At the same time, Kazakhstan’s diplomatic missions operating in Iran continue to function normally and remain available to provide necessary assistance to citizens.
