Kazakhstan Welcomes Thai Air Asia X with New Bangkok-Almaty Route

Thailand’s low-cost carrier, Thai Air Asia X, will begin direct passenger flights between Bangkok and Almaty, Kazakhstan, starting December 1, according to the Civil Aviation Committee of Uzbekistan's Transport Ministry.

The airline will operate four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, as part of Kazakhstan’s efforts to expand international air connectivity.

Officials noted that the opening of air traffic between Kazakhstan and Thailand will contribute to further development of trade, economic, business, investment, tourism, and cultural cooperation between the countries.
