Kazakhstanis Became the Strongest at the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad Among Juniors

The Balkan Junior Mathematical Olympiad JBMO has ended in North Macedonia. The Kazakhstan national team showed the best result in the history of participation - four gold medals, one silver and one bronze, The Caspian Post reports.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the team competition our guys took second place among 24 countries:

  • Anuar Agybaev is a 9th grade student of the NurOrda International School in Almaty;
  • Alexander Oleynikov is a 9th grade student of the NurOrda International School in Almaty;
  • Zhangir Bulat is an 8th grade student of the Republican Physics and Mathematics School of Almaty;
  • Batyrkhan Beyganov is a 9th grade student of the Republican Physics and Mathematics School of Almaty;
  • Nurtai Malik is a 9th grade student of the Aktobe regional boarding school "Bilim-innovation";
  • Miras Kenesbek is a 9th grade student of the Karaganda regional boarding school "Bilim-innovation".
