Live from Presidential Palace: Azerbaijani President’s Arrival and Welcome Ceremony in Kazakhstan

A welcome ceremony for President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is currently taking place at Kazakhstan's Akorda Presidential Palace.

On October 20, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev personally greeted President Aliyev upon his arrival at Astana Airport, marking the start of a state visit that highlights growing ties between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The two presidents are scheduled to:

Hold official talks on key areas of cooperation

Participate in the 2nd Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan Supreme Interstate Council

Attend the Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan Business Forum

The discussions will focus on:
