Moldova Initiates High-Level Phone Talk with Kazakhstan to Boost Bilateral Partnership

At Moldova’s initiative, Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev and Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi have had a phone talk during which both sides expressed their readiness to continue close coordination to further deepen and expand their bilateral partnership.

During the call, Popșoi congratulated Kosherbayev on his recent appointment and wished him success in his new position, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

Kosherbayev expressed gratitude and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to further strengthening the friendly relations between Astana and Chișinău.

The two ministers discussed the current state and future prospects of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Moldova in both bilateral and multilateral formats, highlighting progress on agreements reached at the highest levels of government.

The call follows a meeting in early July between Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Popșoi during the latter’s visit to Astana.
