Paris is now home to Kiz Jibek, a new perfume inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.
Kazakh Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balayeva, has recently held a meeting with Nurjhan Tolegen, an ethnic Kazakh originally from the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in China who now lives in Paris, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Tolegen has launched a new project celebrating Kazakh culture: the fragrance Kiz Zhibek, released under his brand, Tolegen Paris, in the French capital.
The perfume bottle is adorned with intricate traditional Kazakh ornaments, reflecting the nation’s rich cultural heritage.
Inspired by the lyrical epic poem Kiz Zhibek, which embodies the spirit of the 17th-century Kazakh steppe, Nurjhan Tolegen revealed that his visit to Kazakhstan several years ago motivated him to create a brand symbolizing a cultural bridge between East and West.
Balayeva praised Tolegen as a creative and patriotic young talent, encouraging public support for such initiatives and wishing him continued success in his future endeavors.
